After you install

Setup notes for your operating system.

macOS permissions

Allow Microphone access for calls and Screen Recording for screen sharing. Restart Screenr after granting Screen Recording access.

Linux portals

AppImages need libfuse2, or run with --appimage-extract-and-run. On Wayland, sharing opens your compositor's portal dialog.

Windows setup

Choose an install location, then open Screenr from the desktop shortcut.

Out of the box

Start your first call

Create an account, add a friend by username and call them. Your calls and messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Stay up to date

Screenr downloads updates automatically and installs them when you quit. Debian packages may ask for your system password.
